Kingdom Boardroom

Kingdom Boardroom is a faith-based initiative that seeks to promote faith- or values-based businesses. We also desire to see a new generation of young businessmen and women rise and operate with integrity and excellence. The long-term goal is to infuse biblical values into the economic sphere. We seek to use business as a platform to spread values, create employment opportunities and improve the cash flow to businessmen who reflect kingdom values. We believe that resources in the hands of the right people can change a society.

Goma Mission

In 2022, Hekima Centre began an outreach in Goma through the French Church. The city of Goma is located in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is close to one of the most active conflict areas in DR Congo. With a proximate population of one million inhabitants, it is a place where many need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, our mission was to establish a regular and consistent prayer fellowship, and over time to convert the fellowship into a church and ministry.

Pastor Christian Semeli was given the assignment of going to start the Goma fellowship. For the past six months he has been on and out of Goma, and in this next phase we expect him to settle there for a while as they build up to a stable fellowship.

The immediate needs for the Goma fellowship are:

  • Meeting venue – The fellowship has been having prayer meetings in people’s house and have outgrown the space. We are now actively scouting for a place for the same.
  • Instruments – With growth comes increased responsibility. The team also needs basic sound equipment for their activity there.

Hekima Music

As part of developing a new generation of worshippers, Hekima Centre has developed a music channel for the release of ‘our sound’. This will become an avenue for the different range of artistic talent within (and without) Hekima to express themselves. We also choose to believe that it will also provide a platform for upcoming talent. This project is being handled in partnership with the French team.

Kingdom Hub

Kingdom Hub is a venue that offers meeting space for different communities. From a group of 5 to a group of 100, there will always be space for you at the Kingdom Hub.

Transition

With increased growth in the ministry (especially where our children and youth are concerned), there has been pressure on Hekima Centre to transition into a new premises. The vision is to have one church in two locations. Currently we are located in National House, Koinange Street, and we have a vision to open a second campus in one of the Nairobi suburbs. We are calling this second campus a YCC (Youth & Children’s) Center, and it is envisioned to have:
•  Daycare
•  Studio/Music Centre
•  Church + Meeting facilities
